My partner & I embarked upon the first home owner’s journey back in June this year as total novices and lifelong renters that had only lightly entertained purchasing real estate. The unfortunate state of rental market in our region backed us into a corner and we met Regan at a small property to have a look at a cheap little unit. There was a reasonably high mix of emotions and concern at what we were entertaining and Regan gave us a warm welcome and a genuine “no pressure” sales stance. After viewing the property there were no pressured phone calls. A few weeks later after we had considered our situation more thoroughly & based on our first inspection we contacted Regan and he showed us the property that we ended up buying.
This journey from first inspection to settlement has been an interesting one to say the least, with the sale containing many obstacles to cross. The negotiations have had both my partner & I in frequent phone, text and email contact with Regan for several months to execute the sale and the whole time he has displayed a genuine concern for both us and the vendor and has kept the flow of information from both parties prompt and accurate.
It is fair to say that this sale has probably been one of the more interesting sales that Regan has been part of. This being said, Regan remained calm, light and positive throughout the whole process.
The end result is that Regan has facilitated the purchase of our first home. Not just a piece of real estate nor another investment, but a home that my partner & I will live happily and comfortable in for many years to come. We are happy beyond words and are so grateful for Regan’s professionalism, genuine concern and involvement in this journey.
